Open Strand Spelter Sockets

The re-design of our Open Strand Spelter Sockets means that:

- Clamping and alignment of the rope has improved. The cylindrical shape of the base end of the socket is the main reason for this.
- It has a higher MBL due to the reinforcement of the bottom part of the cone.
- Rotating and backing out of the cone is prevented with the help of a non-rotating device in the socket.

Particularly well adapted to meet high load requirements, e.g. in mining, excavation or bridge-building.

Available in sizes from ø 20 mm to ø 95 mm structural strand (3/4″ to 3 3/4″) with an efficiency rating of 100%. Standard version with pin and cotter pin. Also available with bolt, nut and cotter pin.
